So. This is me. I'm 13 going on awesome. I fangirl. And all that. Mostly I'm into Supernatural at the moment, and I ship Destiel, and Sam with almost everyone because he's SAM and I think I'm in love with Castiel and possibly Dean and Sam and I just have a lot of feelings, okay? There's an ask button, use it please, I'm bored and lonely.
bucky speaks in english most of the time but when he gets truly upset he reverts back to rapid fire russian and he can’t switch back to english until he’s calm again
instead of feeling shut out and useless, steve starts learning russian
Natasha helps, but at first she interspersed the helpful phrases with dirty ones. Steve tries to say “what can I do to help” but can tell that may not be what he actually said when Bucky does a double-take.
In Germany we don’t say “I don’t care” we say “Das ist mir Wurst” which roughly translates as “This is sausage to me” I think that’s beautiful.
no you don’t understand we actually do say that
i crashed my car into a bridge
THIS IS SAUSAGE TO ME
We also say “That’s not my beer” for “That’s none of my buisness” and I think that’s beautiful
is germany even real
On one hand, board games are evil, conniving demonic objects who have torn families apart and started wars and made grown men cry, particularly the ones where you actively sabotage your friends and family in the quest for power.
On the other hand, they’re pretty fun.
For Easter my family got a game called Stratego. You have thirty pieces each, with various numbers on them, but they stand upright…
Basically this is a 3am drawing ramble i did a while ago that i decided to throw some colour on.
Dragons are the best though.
Did he hesitate?
#looking down and to the right is associated with emotional responses tied to memory and a person’s concentration on their internal dialogue #so this is probably the first time the winter soldier’s heard bucky barnes’ voice in his head in nearly seventy years #(⊙ ‿ ⊙ ✿) #i’ll never be happy again
My favourite moment in the series.
#it’s just so awesome to see a young woman surrounded by men who are earnestly interested in her opinion #esp. on *ships* #do you know how often i see women get shut down when they try to join in discussions on cars #but they’re all like #”nah this girl knows her shit” #”let’s talk to her about it” #i mean they SHUT DOWN A GUY ASKING HER TO DANCE BECAUSE SHE’S *TALKING* (via dropkicks)
Really, guys? I’m back for ten minutes and we’re already fighting space aliens?
Steve just spends this entire movie unimpressed with EVERYTHING
#as much as I love steve being impressed like vaccinations! #smallpox is gone! #washing machines! #the future is wonderful! #I also want him to kinda be like #oh so it doesn’t fold the clothes for you? #I still gotta iron this myself? #Howard promised flying cars 70 years ago #Where’re the robots #unimpressed by the future tbh (via kehinki)
Jessica Rey presents the history of the evolution of the swimsuit including the origins of its design, how it has changed overtime and the post-feminist association of the bikini symbolizing female empowerment. She refers to neuro-scientific studies revealing how male brains react to images of scantily clad women versus images of women deemed modest and what the implications of the results are for women in society.
(Note: As the OP, I disagree with Rey’s approach to putting the onus on women to alter ourselves rather than to alter the male perception of women – brain wiring has plenty to do with socialization and if we worked against the culture that fuels men’s objectification of women, women’s clothing choices would matter far less in terms of how men perceive us and determine how to interact with us).
